Absolutely. Our movements are designed to be gentle with options given so that you can choose to move however you like. There's no need to be flexible. Our facilitator will be moving with you at all times so you can simply watch and follow, or move in your own way if you want to. You can also return to stillness whenever you like.
Trauma Centre Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) is a specific method of yoga that is based on trauma and attachment theories, neuroscience and intersectionality for the treatment of complex trauma and PTSD. While the movements are similar to "regular" yoga postures, how it is practiced is quite different. There is no hands-on assist and all cues are invitational and choice-based.
